Throughout my fitness career I've heard many women complaining over the assumption that training with weights will make them bulk up and lose their feminine lines. This seems to be the reason why women tend to prefer exercise activities that are aerobic in nature over anaerobic activities such weight training.

In my experience the reality is: weight training is the best, and fastest way to achieve a sexy, feminine physique. Rather than making women bulk up, a workout designed to specifically target women's anatomy will actually bring out their feminine lines by eliminating the excessive fat tissue from their body and adding lean muscle tissue to it. Done properly, weight training makes a woman ’s body slim and can even add muscular growth and shape where needed (example: underdeveloped gluteus, shoulders etc.)

Trying to achieve that body you want by doing mostly cardiovascular training may result in disappointment because No amount of aerobic activity can shape a woman 's body the way weight training can!

Well, weight training may not stop the aging process however, it will for sure delays it or at least help you age at a normal physiological pace instead of prematurely.

It had been determined by scientist, lean muscle is one of the major markers of aging. Beginning in your 30s, you lose 10% of your muscle mass every decade! Basically, the more lean muscle you get to keep as decades pass, the better you'll age. Conversely, the more muscle you lose as you age, the faster the aging factors will set in.
