The sooner you start exercising... the sooner you'll be in shape!
Solution to resolution
What was your fitness resolution this year?
Was it different from the one you promised to accomplish last year? If it was not different and this year you are trying to reset on last's year fitness resolution then; I guess you are one more of those that year after year set to accomplish to start an exercise program but, somehow you are never able to realize.
Is it getting in the shape you have always wanted the resolution you re-set on every year?
If getting into great shape is what you would love to; then, listen to this piece of advice that as a fitness trainer I am going to give you, it will help you to stay on the program. The first thing I recommend you to do is, to start working towards achieving your fitness goals in a relax manner.
The fact is that you can be too enthusiastic about engaging programmed physical activity and that, can and it will work against you. You should get yourself motivated to do what you are set to accomplish but you should do it in a calm manner.
Slowly release some of the motivation you feel at first when you start an exercise program.
Do not spend it all at once.
Do it day by day.
Do not go hard on yourself.
Do not rush the outcome.
One thing you need to keep in mind and know for sure is that as long as you start doing something, your body will be already improving regardless.
In the same way, and contrary to what the latest fad diet suggests; your body does not like and must not be forced to change overnight.
What happens when you force your body to change quickly?
When you attempt to change your body shape overnight, you do change but, the change you achieve does not happens at a deep and intracellular level instead; it is just a temporary adaptation. This adaptation process will stop as soon as the stimulus put upon, stop.
You'll be likely to stop once the level of enthusiasm you started with, start to vanish. Once you stop, your body will automatically return to where it was before and where it feels at home. That being: lack of consistent physical activity.
